Receiving the new instrument

In the morning of the 1st of March, Mari Poll officially signed the contract for a violin that has been lent to her by Estonian Foundation of Musical Instruments. This was the moment when she tried and played the instrument for the first time. Nicolaus Gagliano’s violin is the great sounding piece of art made in 1723 in Naples (Italy). It came with a brilliant and beautiful sound and facilities so it brought a joy on Mari’s face when she started playing on it. The same day 5 other Estonian successful musicians got instruments from Estonian Foundation, three violins, viola and cello. This is a very important event for Estonian music life and a great example to all other societies and countries that are rich with musical talents.
